To me, community means the important people and loved ones you surround yourself with. This could be family, friends, neighbors, and even coworkers. These groups of people have been very supportive throughout my life and they are people I can trust. A community should make you feel safe, supported, and loved.

When times are feeling tough it can be easy to isolate yourself from others and it can be difficult to reach out and ask for help. However, by surrounding yourself with good people, they will always make sure to reach out and help.

With YCAP, I learned more about working together and helping each other. Working on the farm alone would be extremely overwhelming and almost impossible. But by working as a group, we are able to complete tasks and take on problems that may occur together.
