Brenda “Brussel Sprouts” Stokes is a 24 year Jefferson County Public School employee who recently retired from working as the Environmental Magnet Coordinator at Portland Elementary. I grew up on a family farm in Texas and love gardening. At Portland Elementary, I started themed grade level gardens where students plant, tend, harvest and eat food from their gardens.
