Each Friday, we ask the Youth Community Agriculture Program Crew to reflect on the theme of the week. This week’s theme was “Commitment.”
“Commitment unlocks the doors of imagination, allows vision, and gives us the right stuff to turn our dream into a reality.”
James Womack
Read below for a reflection from Nick “New Grass.”
Interest has no time stamp on how long it’ll last whereas taking that interest a step further commits it to some time frame. Committing something turns into a repeated behavior for something that requires attention. A commitment we all have is towards our jobs. We are expected to show up on time, dress in a certain way, and act in a certain manner. I am very passionate about plants and am committed to taking care of them as they continually need care over time. – Nick “New Grass”
