“The young people who come out to the farm aren’t always used to putting their hands in the dirt. There’s real value in the fact that they can see where their food actually comes from.”

About the Farm

The Food Literacy Project is hosted by Field Day Family Farm, a subsection of Oxmoor Farm where farmer Ivor Chodkowski makes his living raising eight acres of vegetables.

The farm’s produce is available at local farmers’ markets, restaurants, and stores and for shareholders in a Community Supported Agriculture program. More information about the farm and the food grown here is available at www.fielddayfamilyfarm.us.
