The events of 2020 have exposed and exacerbated inequities in our society that have existed for generations. During a time of significant change and uncertainty, the Food Literacy Project board and staff are spearheading an organizational transformation process to redefine our right work. As part of this process, we have been awarded a year-long planning grant through ServeKY to explore how the addition of a team of AmeriCorps members would strengthen the work we do in our community. Throughout this planning season, we will be seeking input from program participants, stakeholders, partners, and community members.
We look forward to working with you toward a healthy and equitable community where people and places thrive. If you would like to be involved in this process, please reach out to Jaeden Chatham at jaeden@foodliteracyproject.org or sign up for our newsletter for updates here.
Your support helps address the root causes of food insecurity and build our community’s capacity to become healthy, just, and equitable.
