Spinach and Tomatoes

A dish from Rwanda by Jolie N.

I choose this recipe because is my favorite food. You can serve it with ugali.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 pound of spinach
  • 1 can tomatoes
  • 1/2 onion sliced
  • 1 green paper sliced
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • salt to taste
  • a little bit water

Method

  1. The first thing you have to do is to put oil in sauce pan and then put 1/2 onion sliced and 1 can tomatoes and 1 green pepper sliced.
  2. Then add salt after one minute or 50 second add 1 can of tomatoes then put 1 1/2 pounds spinach. You can add water if you want. Cook until spinach is wilted and it is hot.
