Goals for 2008
- Support the community by offering group experiential education programs on the farm.
- Serve 1,200 participants and /or have 30 program days.
- Ensure program participant feedback.
- Add composting area, cold frame and shade structure to demonstration garden.
- Host two Family Farm Days.
- Develop tool to measure improved knowledge and attitues of participants.
- Provide ongoing youth development programs on the farm and/or in neighborhood gardens that deepen participants' experience with good and agriculture.
- Implement three 12-week food-based entrepreneurial youth development sessions with teenagers in partnership with community organizations.
- Assess opportunities to offer ongoing youth development programs on the far or incorporate occasional farm visits.
- Develop a public awareness campaign that focuses on our programs and the issues we address.
- Gain a thorough understanding of the community's need for technical assistance and determine what role we will play.
